Known for its violet-grey and dynamic pink tones, Lepidolite energy has been harnessed for centuries, as a settling stone. Lepidolite enchants many with its glass like crystal completion making it a is a beautiful crystal for jewellery and part of any collection.
How is Lepidolite formed?
Lepidolite belongs to the mica minerals family and is a fairly rare crystal, growing in deposits of igneous rock (in otherwords... cooled magma or lava!). In order for lepidolite crystals to be able to grow, the magma or lava needs to have cooled at a slow rate, with the presence of water vapor.

Lepidolite is names after the Greek word ‘scale’. The stone has been used for centuries to as a soothing stone for one's emotions. Due to is vibrant colour, lepidolite was even used as a eyeshadow traditionally used to give eye shadows a rich colour.
